Registered Designs

Registered designs protect the visual appearance of a product or parts thereof. If renewal fees are paid every 5 years, a registered design can remain enforceable for 25 years. A registered design will not provide protection for the functionality of a product.

Unregistered Designs

Unregistered design rights arise automatically and do not require registration to subsist. Further details can be found in the information section of our website.
